About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Delivering existing training program to diverse groups of managers across the country
- Helping meet the increasing demand for trainings of groups led by and for people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or other people of color
- Engaging with potential clients to design training packages
- Giving input on the revision of curricula and design of products as needed
- Collaborating with training team to deepen antiracist practices, strengthen services, assess impact, and learn together
- Gauging success by extent to which organizations implement better management practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant management experience in progressive nonprofits (think executive director, CEO, vice president, member of the C-suite, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of how to manage and lead equitably in social justice or educational equity organizations
- Experience teaching, both virtually and in person
- Ability to deploy lecture and experiential learning techniques
- Strong knowledge of equitable management practices
- Experience addressing performance issues and creating a culture of belonging
- Capacity to build trust and credibility with nonprofit organizations, their leaders, and managers
- Ability to desire, receive, and implement feedback on your own work
