About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership for LLSC’s national major gifts program.
Design and implement strategies, systems and donor engagement approaches to grow major gift revenue.
Lead a team of major gift professionals while maintaining a portfolio of high-capacity donors.
Manage and cultivate relationships with high-capacity donors.
Collaborate across LLSC to connect donor interests with mission priorities and funding needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

7-10+ years progressive experience in fundraising, philanthropy, advancement or major gifts.
Demonstrated success securing major and transformational gifts.
Experience leading fundraising teams and managing performance.
Proven track record building and growing fundraising programs, pipelines and revenue results.
Experience managing complex donor relationships and high-value portfolios.
Experience developing fundraising strategies and translating them into measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of major gifts fundraising principles, donor engagement and moves management.
Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution.
Strong coaching and leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
Experience working with CRM systems, fundraising analytics and pipeline reporting.
Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
