Campaign Director

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Campaign Director, Light the Night (LTN) is a driven revenue leader and relationship builder focused on securing and growing high-impact fundraising through executive leadership committees, corporate and community partnerships, and innovative donor engagement strategies
- This role is responsible for delivering the Light the Night revenue in their market and ensuring strong year-over-year growth
- Working closely with the National Campaign Director, LTN, they will develop and execute strategic fundraising plans that drive critical funding for life-saving research and patient support services
- This is a highly external-facing role, with more than 40% of time spent out of the office engaging with executive leaders, corporate partners, and key stakeholders to drive transformational fundraising growth for Light the Night
- Recruit and develop high-impact Executive Leadership Committees to drive fundraising success
- Maximize ethical revenue generation through strategic corporate and community partnerships
- Expand and strengthen the pipeline of top-tier fundraisers through proactive prospecting and relationship-building
- Lead and develop staff teams to recruit, inspire, and engage fundraising volunteers
- Ensure the success and sustainability of Light the Night by delivering exceptional participant and partner experiences
Requirements
What you’ll need- An Undergraduate degree is required for this position, or equivalent in experience
- 7+ years of progressively responsible sales or business development experience in a service industry, or ideally senior level fund development leadership with a not-for-profit
- Knowledge and skill in fundraising management with a proven track record of building fundraising success ideally in corporate development, major giving, and peer-to-peer fundraising
- Experience in operational management and leading a staff team
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, mentor, motivate and lead a professional team to achieve measured goals and objectives
- Proven success in senior volunteer recruitment, management and development
- Superior interpersonal skills to connect, build and maintain a broad range relationship
- Excellent planning, fiscal management and analytical skills
- Strong written, oral and public presentation skills
