About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own and evolve a critical Azure platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security in production
Design and deliver cloud-native solutions including APIs, serverless, and event-driven systems
Drive infrastructure improvements using Infrastructure-as-Code and support a Kubernetes-first roadmap
Enhance observability and incident response through better monitoring, alerting, and diagnostics
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD, developer experience, and platform practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Azure and building cloud-native workloads (APIs, serverless, event-driven systems)
Proven use of Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform) in real production environments
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in managed cloud platforms
Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring best practices
Ability to script, support CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers where needed
Coaching and mentoring members of the team.
