About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, implement, and coordinate The Center’s programming to prevent substance use
  • Decrease substance-related health and social disparities
  • Supervise Center Youth graduate student interns
  • Provide direct individual prevention interventions
  • Work with the Youth Clinical Services Manager and Director of Youth Services
  • Maintain client and programmatic files
  • Provide direct task and clinical supervision to graduate student interns
  • Coordinate scheduling and facilitation of Prevention closed groups
  • Support documentation and reporting on grant deliverables
  • Support coordination of staff and intern training
  • Manage scheduling and quality assurance of intakes
  • Coordinate onsite and offsite Prevention services
  • Provide Supervisor On-Duty coverage
  • Support and attend annual Center Youth Camp
  • Coordinate and implement annual Pride-related outreach and community engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • LMSW/LMHC/MHC-LP/LCSW or CASAC/CASAC-T
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of clinical experience providing substance use prevention services to youth and young adults
  • Bilingual or multilingual, a plus. Language preferences: Spanish, Bengali, Russian, and/or French-Creole
  • Experience providing supervision and SIFI certification, a plus
  • Ability to lead discrete projects and/or client engagements
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management
  • Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
  • Collaborates with teammates and members of the broader Center community
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of workstyles and cultural backgrounds
  • Knowledge and experience working with LGBTQ+, TGNC, POC, and Immigrant populations
