Commercial Counsel
The LeafletCommercial Counsel providing legal guidance and support for a digital gaming company. Responsible for drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across various business functions including marketing and operations.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide legal support and guidance across multiple functions of the company, including senior management
- Include broad legal responsibilities with respect to commercial matters for the company
- Draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, sponsorship and partnership agreements, marketing, media and affiliate agreements, product and technology agreements and other commercial agreements
- Work closely with teams across the business technology and product, social/free to play games, marketing, finance and operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor degree from a top US law school
- Admission and in good standing to one or more US state bars
- A minimum of 3-5 years legal experience with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- General familiarity with intellectual property concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines and multiple demands
- Law firm experience at a reputable firm and in-house experience in a startup or large organization
- Experience in digital online gaming and/or sports betting (experience working on marketing transactions a plus)
- Knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the gaming industry
