About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide legal support and guidance across multiple functions of the company, including senior management
  • Include broad legal responsibilities with respect to commercial matters for the company
  • Draft and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, sponsorship and partnership agreements, marketing, media and affiliate agreements, product and technology agreements and other commercial agreements
  • Work closely with teams across the business technology and product, social/free to play games, marketing, finance and operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor degree from a top US law school
  • Admission and in good standing to one or more US state bars
  • A minimum of 3-5 years legal experience with an emphasis on drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • General familiarity with intellectual property concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick deadlines and multiple demands
  • Law firm experience at a reputable firm and in-house experience in a startup or large organization
  • Experience in digital online gaming and/or sports betting (experience working on marketing transactions a plus)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations of the gaming industry
