About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply critical thinking and analytical rigor to assess complex, high-risk customer profiles
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI-powered tools to monitor EDD program effectiveness
  • Drive ongoing improvements to tooling, workflows, and decisioning frameworks
  • Own the EDD case management lifecycle
  • Establish and maintain EDD policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Conduct and oversee escalated enhanced review of high-risk customer profiles
  • Partner with Responsible Gaming, VIP, and Compliance teams
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for EDD-related regulatory inquiries
  • Report on EDD program KPIs and case outcomes to senior leadership
  • Oversee the EDD team, including manager and analysts/associates

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6–8 years of AML/EDD or financial crimes compliance experience
  • A minimum of 5 years in a people management role
  • Direct experience in online gaming, sportsbook, or fintech compliance strongly preferred
  • CAMS certification (or equivalent) required
  • Deep working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, FinCEN guidance, and state gaming compliance obligations
  • Demonstrated experience conducting or overseeing SOW/SOF reviews
  • Proficiency with EDD and identity intelligence platforms (CLEAR, SEON, LexisNexis or similar)
  • Expertise in working with data
  • Proficient in the use of AI tools to enhance review quality
  • Flexible in approach and vision
