Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the in-house ERISA expert guiding the company’s mission to expand retirement plan access for small and mid-sized businesses
Provide real-time, practical legal guidance on ERISA, IRC, and fiduciary matters
Ensure operational compliance and translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable advice
Advise on plan sponsor and participant questions
Review disclosures and communications for compliance
Support the product team with subject matter expertise as new features are developed

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–8 years of substantive ERISA experience focused on qualified retirement plans
At least two years in a law firm setting
Proven ability to advise non-legal teams in fast-paced environments
Experience with operational compliance, fiduciary rules, and product or technology-driven legal issues
Admission to the bar
Collaborative, cross-functional approach
