About the role
- Coordinates all aspects of the saw product line, from conception to sale.
- Optimize and mine sales through industrial distributor channel partners.
- Prospect, qualify, and develop new end-user customers in various industries.
- Present, demonstrate, and sell The L.S. Starrett Company Saw portfolio.
- Work independently or with distributor sales team to develop end-user customers.
- Qualify customer needs and develop new sales opportunities.
- Manage, develop, and grow sales by supporting distributor partners.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3-6 years of proven technical sales experience.
- Certification in any vocational training or sales training a plus.
- Expertise in qualifying, developing and securing new customers through distribution and/or direct end-user channels.
- Experience in the manufacturing / industrial segment or industry-related experience in product application is preferred.
- Experienced in product testing, product application, and consultation.
- Skills in prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing diverse decision makers.
- Ability to accurately target and develop new business opportunities.
- Candidate must be fluent in English.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
