About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • manage nutrition and regulatory compliance activities for commercializing food and beverage products regulated by FDA, USDA, and State agencies
  • ensure regulatory compliance of Kraft Heinz products, advertising, and promotional materials in accordance with FDA, USDA and State requirements
  • develop, interpret, and document nutrition and regulatory technical information for ingredients, formulas, and finished products
  • review and approve label graphics and specifications for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
  • provide regulatory and nutrition guidance on cross-functional project teams to support informed business decisions
  • track, assess and document regulatory requirements, changes, and internal decisions
  • monitor regulatory and nutrition developments and escalate potential impacts to senior team members
  • respond to consumer inquiries and support internal corporate requests, escalating complex issues as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • experience in regulatory compliance, nutrition, quality, R&D, or a related area
  • strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn regulatory frameworks
  • excellent problem solving, organization, and time management skills
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn about computer software programs for data collection, management, and reporting
  • ability to handle complexity, multiple projects and work under tight timelines
  • strong drive for results and ability to bring projects to completion
  • willingness to travel 5%
