About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently ensure regulatory compliance of Kraft Heinz products, advertising, and promotional materials in accordance with FDA, USDA, and State requirements as well as internal standards
  • Develop, interpret, and document nutrition and regulatory technical information for ingredients, formulas, and finished products
  • Review and approve label graphics and specifications for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy
  • Provide regulatory and nutrition guidance on cross‑functional project teams to support informed business decisions
  • Track, assess and document regulatory requirements, changes, and internal decisions
  • Evaluate and assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing and in‑development products
  • Partner proactively with R&D, Marketing, Quality, and Supply Chain to identify labeling risks and opportunities
  • Manage escalated consumer or regulatory inquiries and support corporate initiatives
  • Stay current on regulatory and nutrition trends and communicate business implications
  • Provide leadership by serving on advanced Food Regulation and Strategy Teams to guide Kraft Heinz decisions and policy
  • Support training, onboarding, or day‑to‑day guidance for Analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • years of experience in food labeling, regulatory compliance, or related functional area
  • working knowledge of FDA and/or USDA regulations, labeling systems, and specifications
  • able to interpret regulations and apply them to complex situations
  • strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
  • effective communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional partners
  • able to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • willing to travel up to 5%
