About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation automation and digital solutions
Architect and standardize automation and control systems in support of a smart pilot plant
Manage the research, evaluation and implementation of smart sensors, measurement technology, imaging systems and data acquisition
Explore IoT sensors for real-time monitoring and pilot high-impact tools in controlled environments
Develop, validate, and deploy full-scale automated processes and automation concepts
Support the development of digital twins and simulation models for process and packaging systems
Ensure compliance with food safety, cybersecurity, and data governance standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Controls, Mechatronics, or related field required; Masters in Science preferred
6-8 years in automation/controls with multi-site or pilot-to-plant experience
Proven track record in Industry 4.0, digital twin/discrete event simulation and machine learning/advanced process control deployments
Strong knowledge of industrial communications and OT/IT integration
Demonstrated knowledge of implementing smart sensors and in-line, advanced diagnostic measurement tools
Experience with food processing and CPG packaging systems
