About the role
- Generate new business through sales calls, industry events, and hotel partnerships
- Maintain ongoing relationships with hotel representatives and past clients
- Respond promptly (within 24 hours) to inquiries and leads
- Collaborate with Creative Services and Operations teams to develop proposals and client solutions
- Build rapport with suppliers, hoteliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Work with the creative team to craft tailored proposals, revisions, and follow-ups
- Sell a variety of services including destination management, décor, team-building activities, and more
- Proactively plan and strategize to meet and exceed sales goals, with bonuses for surpassing targets
- Lead sales meetings, attend site inspections, and participate in networking events
- Prepare proposals, contract, and oversee proposal follow-up
- Coordinate with the operations team for seamless event execution and client support
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the hotel, event, DMC and / or hospitality industry
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems effectively
