About the role

  • Generate new business through sales calls, industry events, and hotel partnerships
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with hotel representatives and past clients
  • Respond promptly (within 24 hours) to inquiries and leads
  • Collaborate with Creative Services and Operations teams to develop proposals and client solutions
  • Build rapport with suppliers, hoteliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Work with the creative team to craft tailored proposals, revisions, and follow-ups
  • Sell a variety of services including destination management, décor, team-building activities, and more
  • Proactively plan and strategize to meet and exceed sales goals, with bonuses for surpassing targets
  • Lead sales meetings, attend site inspections, and participate in networking events
  • Prepare proposals, contract, and oversee proposal follow-up
  • Coordinate with the operations team for seamless event execution and client support
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the hotel, event, DMC and / or hospitality industry
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems effectively
