Senior Marketing Manager – Schools

• The role
• We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our Financial Control team. This is a hybrid role (2 days in the office) that includes month end management reporting responsibilities as well as continuous process improvement and optimisation focusing on Cost assurance specifically. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved in projects.
• **Responsibilities**
• - Create and own monthly cost reporting by supplier, GL code for multiple legal entities against budget
• - P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis
• - Maintaining monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
• - Complete cost reviews to ensure the amount we are charged is accurate and appropriate
• - Business partnering with senior leaders, working closely with the FP&A team to deliver results and variances to budget
• - Investigate any discrepancies or future plans with the FP&A teams and Purchasing teams as appropriate
• - Capture the Staff Capitalisation amounts for the engineering and product teams and maintain the schedule
• - Help with the annual audit process providing sample support and answering any queries in relation to areas of responsibility.
• - Raise monthly intercompany recharges across the Group

• - Bringing in other subsidiaries & future acquisitions to existing processes
• - Identifying & implementing group efficiencies wherever possible
• - Calling out system improvements and supporting with ad hoc duties to fit business needs
