About the role

  • Developing new commercial activities and increasing the profit margin for The July.
  • Building our presence in the Dublin market and creating strong networks.
  • Identifying business opportunities and market trends.
  • Maintaining and cultivating strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Targeting new corporate accounts, group business and other events to drive business growth.
  • Proactively negotiating and securing both new and existing corporate contracts to surpass revenue targets.
  • Working closely together with different departments and HQ to maximize revenue.
  • Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Hosting site visits and presentations to potential clients.
  • Preparing and presenting hotel sales performance reports and local market trends to the Director of Sales.
  • Handling client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Traveling frequently to meet clients, attend industry events and sales team meetings at our HQ in Amsterdam.

Requirements

  • Minimum three or more years of proven experience in a similar hotel sales-based role.
  • Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Engaging personality.
  • Excellent communication skills verbally and written.
  • A passion for sales and have confidence in converting enquiries.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current market trends.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
