About the role
- Developing new commercial activities and increasing the profit margin for The July.
- Building our presence in the Dublin market and creating strong networks.
- Identifying business opportunities and market trends.
- Maintaining and cultivating strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Targeting new corporate accounts, group business and other events to drive business growth.
- Proactively negotiating and securing both new and existing corporate contracts to surpass revenue targets.
- Working closely together with different departments and HQ to maximize revenue.
- Representing the hotel at trade shows, networking events and industry conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Hosting site visits and presentations to potential clients.
- Preparing and presenting hotel sales performance reports and local market trends to the Director of Sales.
- Handling client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Traveling frequently to meet clients, attend industry events and sales team meetings at our HQ in Amsterdam.
Requirements
- Minimum three or more years of proven experience in a similar hotel sales-based role.
- Strong negotiating and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Engaging personality.
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written.
- A passion for sales and have confidence in converting enquiries.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of current market trends.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
