About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise the performance, productivity, and operational effectiveness of Medical Records and Investigations departments
Ensure departments meet established service-level expectations and document acquisition timelines
Oversee acquisition of medical records, FOIA materials, insurance info, and other key evidentiary documentation
Actively diagnose workflow issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurring breakdowns
Conduct regular weekly check-ins and bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Legal support experience required
Demonstrated team leadership experience
Experience with medical records retrieval processes preferred
Experience with investigation processes in civil litigation matters preferred
Familiarity with plaintiff-side case support workflows strongly preferred
Experience coordinating with vendors, medical providers, insurance companies, or outside agencies preferred
