Maintain and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and related databases (ATS, CAPA, Hold, Quality Docs)
Write, update, and review quality documents, procedures, policies and business processes to ensure compliance with regulations and certifications (FSMA, BRCGS, GFSI)
Serve as owner/administrator for ETQ Document Control Reviewer, QA Portal SharePoint site, Site Bioterrorism Registrations, Corporate QAKE, Corporate Quality Scorecard
Assist in managing quality software system platforms, perform administrative tasks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Manage and develop direct report responsible for sales support of customer complaints, requests and shelf-life extensions
Back-up lead for corporate crisis team and member of corporate food defense team
Support and participate in the Corporate QA audit team in Smucker facilities
Coordinate PCQI course offerings with Smucker PCQI lead instructors
Member of Corporate Quality Pillar team and support monthly QA Pillar/QA Manager calls
Travel to support plant issues as needed (up to 15% annually)
Requirements
A bachelor's degree
5 years of progressive quality and food safety experience
2 years of experience in manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience leading others (project teams or people manager)
Demonstrated high level of organizational skills and ability
Strong knowledge of quality assurance, food manufacturing, packaging, processing and distribution
Knowledge of USDA HACCP, FDA FSMA, ready-to-eat (RTE)/not-ready-to-eat (nRTE) regulations
Knowledge of GFSI (BRCGS)
Proven ability to develop written tools, policies, SOPs
Demonstrated ability with continuous improvement
Technical knowledge of FDA regulations (cGMPs, FSMA, Allergens)
