HR Business Partner
The Ironmongers' CompanyHR Business Partner overseeing employee relations and HR initiatives for ILSC Education Group. Consulting with management and ensuring compliance with employment laws in Canada.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee HR initiatives and employee and labour relations for the assigned portfolio group
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all HR matters
- Assist in resolving workplace conflicts and fostering positive relationships
- Lead global HR projects and continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and internal governance
- Drive organizational change management initiatives
- Use HR analytics to measure program effectiveness
- Collaborate with payroll departments on employee matters
- Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum five years of previous experience in a busy Human Resources position
- Post-secondary education in Human Resource Management
- Knowledge of Canadian employment laws and regulations
- Preference for experience in a unionized environment
- Proven ability to influence management and key stakeholders
- Must have experience independently leading employee relations investigations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Experience with ADP WFN or BambooHR is an asset
- HR professional certification is an asset
