Key responsibilities & impact

Perform high-quality research on EV policies, supply chains and local-content rules, with a focus in Europe.
Collect data, and perform quantitative analyses of datasets on the future costs and demand in batteries and minerals, production capacities, and trade flows.
Author or co-author ICCT publications such as blogs, briefing papers, memos, working papers, and reports.
Review and summarize technical and scientific literature and review the work of colleagues and outside consultants.
Support presentations in public workshops and conferences, as well as regulatory working groups and policymaker briefings.

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.A. (required), M.S., or Ph.D. (preferred) in engineering, economics, environmental sciences, or related field
relevant work or research experience is a plus
curiosity and basic understanding of battery technologies, material supply chains, industrial policies and global trade dynamics
excellent quantitative, analytical, research, and organizational skills
strong written and verbal communication skills and strong emotional intelligence
strong proficiency with data manipulation and analysis using Excel, Python, R or similar tools; modelling and programming experience desired
English fluency is required, both written and spoken.
