About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform day-to-day activities for the assigned Finance Business Services tower, such as procure to pay, order to cash, or record to report
  • Partner with internal teams and external business partners to resolve discrepancies and solve problems
  • Apply foundational skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, GL entry, or financial reporting
  • Maintain, file, and/or distribute required internal and external documentation
  • Work on departmental and strategic projects
  • Collaborate with project/product managers and cross-functional teams
  • Support and help more junior analysts
  • Manage workload and competing priorities
  • Present continuous improvement insights and recommendations to managers and leaders
  • Develop and recommend solutions based on prior experience
  • Gather input and feedback concerning business needs
  • Execute operational tasks related to the assigned PTP, OTC, or RTR tower
  • Interpret data in reports and ledgers
  • Provide advice and analysis to improve efficiency
  • Execute month-end and year-end processes
  • Monitor and work toward KPIs and SLAs
  • Assist the FBS manager with building and interpreting business analyses
  • Work with project teams and business partners to complete project goals
  • Help prioritize assignments and ensure quality and accuracy
  • Seek knowledge of finance developments and trends, including analytics, intelligent automation, and robotics
  • Participate in continuous improvement of financial shared-services processes and tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software and other accounting software programs
  • Thorough understanding of accounting and/or finance principles and practices
  • Knowledge of statistical methodology, generally accepted accounting principles, and generally accepted auditing standards
  • Ability to work independently and complete work on schedule in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Experience with data analytics/data visualization
  • Experience with innovative technologies such as RPA, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Blockchain highly desired
  • Ability to prepare and present clear, concise administrative and financial reports
  • High school diploma and/or GED
  • No leadership experience required
