About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of 10 engineers across four foundational systems.
Manage ~180 repos across high-scale enterprise platforms.
Drive delivery on multiple Top 40 initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable delivery.
Champion AI-forward engineering as a core team practice.
Drive continuous improvement in observability instrumentation, monitoring and alerting, platform resiliency, and cloud cost optimization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Mastery of an object oriented programming language (preferably Java)
Engineering leadership experience with Java, Spring Boot, GCP, Cassandra, cloud cost optimizations and distributed search platforms (Solr/elastic/mongo)
Experience managing large-scale foundational customer platform portfolios with AI-PDLC
Strong people leadership with experience managing 10+ direct reports
Proven capacity planning and quarterly commitment management in collaboration with Product teams and Principals
Hands-on AI-forward leader with experience in GitHub Copilot, Gemini Enterprise, and Claude, driving AI adoption as a measurable engineering metric including AI coding usage, PR cycle time, and balanced team insights through Code Climate velocity metrics
Comfortable with agentic workflows, MCP integrations, and responsible AI governance at enterprise scale.
