About the role

  • Position Purpose: Lead a commissioned Sales Consultant team to generate leads, close in-home sales, and deliver world class customer service for The Home Depot
  • Recruit, coach, manage, and retain a team of commissioned Sales Consultants; train on sales processes and products
  • Analyze and prioritize business metrics, drive team to achieve sales targets and implement action plans to improve performance
  • Drive customer service, respond to escalated customer inquiries, and work with installation partners
  • Drive store connectivity: build relationships with store partners/associates and train them on HDE products and services
  • Manage hiring, training/coaching, performance management and all aspects of the employment life cycle
  • Travel Requirements: typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time
  • Physical Requirements: walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting of heavy or awkward items
  • Working Conditions: indoor environment with possible mild physical discomfort (dust, fumes, temperature extremes)

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
  • Minimum Education: high school diploma and/or GED
  • Minimum Years of Work Experience: 3 years
  • Minimum Leadership Experience: 3 years
