About the role
- Position Purpose: Lead a commissioned Sales Consultant team to generate leads, close in-home sales, and deliver world class customer service for The Home Depot
- Recruit, coach, manage, and retain a team of commissioned Sales Consultants; train on sales processes and products
- Analyze and prioritize business metrics, drive team to achieve sales targets and implement action plans to improve performance
- Drive customer service, respond to escalated customer inquiries, and work with installation partners
- Drive store connectivity: build relationships with store partners/associates and train them on HDE products and services
- Manage hiring, training/coaching, performance management and all aspects of the employment life cycle
- Travel Requirements: typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time
- Physical Requirements: walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting of heavy or awkward items
- Working Conditions: indoor environment with possible mild physical discomfort (dust, fumes, temperature extremes)
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum Education: high school diploma and/or GED
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 3 years
- Minimum Leadership Experience: 3 years
