About the role
- Create detailed project plans with all tasks, dependencies, and timelines identified.
- Report relevant status to managers and key stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
- Establish and maintain schedules, drive activities, and identify risks and dependencies.
- Develop mitigation strategies and coordinate groups of technical and non-technical resources.
- Assist with writing text and graphical Use Cases detailing business and system process flows/data flows.
- Manage small to medium departmental projects through the project life cycle.
- Support the creation of project management best practices, tools, and ways to drive efficiency in project execution.
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- 1 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional team discussions and creating a plan of action.
- Thrives off of driving for results, naturally passionate about projects and is comfortable being accountable.
- Experience communicating information at all levels of the organization.
- Exposure interacting and presenting to senior executives, business partners and technology teams.
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an Associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
- At least 1 year of hands on experience managing minimally complex projects independently.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Familiar with basic principals of project management.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of PMI Project Management standards, best practices and industry trends.
- Must be a team player.
