About the role
- Responsible for independently developing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications
- Part of a dynamic team with engineers of all experience levels
- Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, integration with other systems, and production monitoring
- Mentoring less experienced engineers
Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience with Salesforce development and administration
- Strong experience with Salesforce declarative features (Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Page Layouts) and programmatic development (Apex, Lightning Web Components)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiar with web technologies such as CSS, HTML, JavaScript, etc.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security models, including profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing rules
- Experience with data modeling, data migration, and managing large datasets in Salesforce
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and release management processes in Salesforce
- Experience with testing frameworks, including unit, integration, and automated testing within Salesforce
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills for both declarative and programmatic Salesforce components
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Experience with development IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio) and familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred
