About the role
- Assist in the management and organization of the State & Local Tax Audit and Planning (“SALT”) Team within the Corporate Tax Department.
- Communicate with tax authorities via telephone, email & written letters
- Retrieve and analyze data through leveraging technology tools
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Manage several projects and workstreams essential to the SALT function as well as other tax groups
- Support various Team Members on projects and workstream management
- Provide administrative support
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must pass drug test
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree
- Candidates will be considered without a bachelor’s degree provided they have relevant work experience
- 2 - 3 Years relevant work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in an office setting
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize assignments and manage time efficiently
- Interest in understanding the context for assignments and driving process improvement and efficiency
- Experience with SharePoint
- Knowledge in defining data and reporting needs leveraging Tableau, Power BI, and other reporting applications
- Intermediate knowledge of PC based programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
