About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading and managing complex projects within the Healthy Child Service, ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes, timescales and budgets.
- Coordinating work to support the transfer out of Integrated Care Board (ICB) commissioned services.
- Reviewing current estate usage and working with corporate property and partners to develop a future estates strategy.
- Delivering projects that support digital transformation across the Healthy Child Service.
- Producing key papers, business cases, cost–benefit analyses and benefits realisation plans.
- Managing stakeholders across the Council, NHS, local authorities, and wider public sector partners.
- Ensuring appropriate governance, equality impact assessments, GDPR compliance and information governance arrangements are in place.
- Leading engagement and communication with stakeholders and service users to support service change.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Proven project or programme management experience in a public service or large, complex organisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills.
- Experience of service redesign, business analysis or transformation activity.
- An evidence-led approach to problem solving, monitoring and evaluation.
- Confidence working in a matrix environment and across organisational boundaries.
