About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • co-lead our Social Work and Occupational Therapy Faculty
  • collaborate with managers and practitioners across CYP and ASC to design, deliver, and evaluate a range of programmes supporting entry routes into these roles and the continuous professional development of our existing registered workforce
  • lead the planning and implementation of learning strategies
  • manage a team of learning consultants and coordinators to deliver a comprehensive workforce offer
  • oversee the training and commissioning activity to ensure best value and high impact
  • work closely with learning and development colleagues across the organisation to ensure joined up and streamlined approaches to learning.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • is a skilled facilitator and is confident in leading workforce development discussions with practitioners and managers across all levels of the organisation
  • has strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate impact
  • has excellent written communication skills for writing reports and creating learning programmes
  • has a good understanding of current developments within social work and occupational therapy, including national practice standards and regulations
  • is able to think on their feet and is comfortable working within a fast-paced environment.
