About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support client servicing teams across clients in the fast-moving technology sector
- Support client accounts teams with client campaigns, media relations and content marketing activities
- Monitor editorial opportunities and flag them to the office
- Research media contacts and compile media contact lists for pitching
- Create reporter briefing sheets
- Develop media pitches and invites, follow up, and secure media interest
- Conduct preliminary research for new business pitches
- Draft press releases, bylines and social copies
- Create and update yearly calendars with speaking and awards opportunities
- Prepare abstracts as required
- Source vendors for internal and external events, seminars and activities
- Liaise with vendors and provide on-site support for video production
- Support internal engagement activities, including social activities and internal training programmes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Able to commit 6–12 months full-time
- Passion for media relations, digital and social marketing
- Strong administration skills
- A “can do” attitude
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Good planning, organisational and research skills
- Ability to work independently and know when to escalate issues and seek help and support
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Interest in the communications and technology industry
- Love for innovation advantageous
- Interest in communications, creative and technology industries advantageous
