About the role
- Build and nurture a robust network of journalists, analysts, and influencers and manage media engagements
- Craft creative pitching strategies and manage briefings, roundtables and media engagements
- Curate and refine content including press releases, Q&A documents, bylines and strategic plans in English and/or Chinese
- Analyze campaign results, monitor competitive landscapes and compile market intelligence and performance reports
- Design and execute integrated multi-channel communications combining paid, owned and earned media
- Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to clients, engaging with senior management and C-level executives
- Lead day-to-day account operations including budgets, resource coordination and overseeing multiple projects
- Contribute to RFPs, pitch decks and new business presentations to secure and expand tech client roster
- Mentor and manage junior staff through one-on-one coaching and training sessions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, PR/Advertising, Marketing/Integrated Communications, Journalism, Linguistics or other relevant degrees
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (agency experience preferred)
- Experience in media relations
- Experience in client servicing and project management
- Interested in working with technology-related portfolio, fintech, corporate
- Superior writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in another language such as Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia would be an advantage
- Passion for digital and social media communications
