Digital Systems Specialist I

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides front-line digital systems and client support for plant users including troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Works under the direction of the Plant Digital System Support Specialist and partners with Corporate IS teams
- Supports plant-level computer systems, networking, and hardware refresh activities
- Assists users in identifying, evaluating, implementing, and maintaining technology-based solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong troubleshooting skills supporting PC hardware, software, printers, and plant applications
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (PC and server environments)
- Understanding of networking concepts, virtual environments, and infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant environment
- Strong customer service mindset with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users clearly
- Ability to escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with IT partners
- Demonstrates Hershey Values and commitment to safety and plant procedures
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal communication)
- High attention to detail and ability to follow direction
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Foundational knowledge of PCs, printers, and general IT systems
- Basic understanding of programming or database concepts preferred
