Serve as a data expert to the C-Store channel driving development and implementation of LSP initiatives to meet and exceed financial objectives.
Synthesize business trends, competitive activity, shopper insights, and financial insights to identify opportunities and develop solutions to drive growth and streamline efficiencies.
Support C-Store Operations in tactical execution of current and future channel strategies, priorities, and pillars, focusing on Independent store strategies such as distribution and selling.
Lead ideation and creation of technical capabilities including handheld ordering, Tableau, Power BI, and MSA Dhiva reporting.
Ensure execution of channel capabilities using multiple systems including SalesForce, MSA, IRI, Power BI, and PlanEx and tools such as Space Management and Syndicated Data Analysis.
Support CSE & Retail teams in focus area reporting and implement tools, insights, and processes to drive sales volume while streamlining consistent reporting throughout the C-Store channel.
Partner with internal teams (GIS, Sales Planning, Retail Development, IS) in development and management of tools & capabilities.
Work in the field with ARSL, RSL, and TSAs to gain perspective and generate recommendations for enhancements of tools, processes & procedures.
Assist Operations Manager with providing direction to the retail team on cycle priorities and REM information.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Required
5-7 years previous Category Management and/or CPG Sales experience
Advanced analytical skills
Advanced understanding of consumer/shopper behavior and market research strategies
Knowledge of consumer sales industry trends and complete working knowledge of the category management process
Proficiency with SalesForce, MSA, IRI, Power BI, PlanEx, and Tableau
Experience with Space Management, Syndicated Data Analysis, Navigator, Efficient Assortment, Inter and Intra Channel Benchmarking, Executive Summaries, and Fair Share
Ability to work Eastern/Central time zones and perform field work with ARSL, RSL, and TSA teams
Ability to partner cross-functionally with GIS, Sales Planning, Retail Development, and IS
