About the role

  • Develop, roll out and maintain standardized global compensation processes to ensure consistency across all regions.
  • Partner to deliver technology-based solutions that ensure processes deliver accuracy through a simplified and digitized process.
  • Monitor compliance with internal policies and external regulations across global markets.
  • Drive global compensation year-end program activities, partnering with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and others.
  • Enhance our partnership and global approach to hourly manufacturing benchmarking.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for compensation surveys and PayFactors platform, elevating how we use data and tools to proactively manage compensation and maximize organizational impact.
  • Guide survey participation, ensure accurate job matching for competitive market data, interpret survey results, and deliver actionable insights to inform market pricing strategies.
  • Oversee compensation offers to ensure alignment with pay philosophy, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Independently manage complex, escalated offers requiring thorough evaluation, market pricing analysis and internal equity considerations, and strategically influence to drive alignment on final decisions.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to support informed, equitable compensation decisions.
  • Analyze compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
  • Create dashboards and reports that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build business cases and develop compelling narratives to proactively communicate findings to senior leadership, influence strategic decisions, and gain necessary approvals.
  • Champion our global living wage strategy to ensure alignment with benchmarks and maintain compliance across all locations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure equitable pay practices across all geographies.
  • Partner with HR Operations and the business to oversee day-to-day administration of short-term incentive programs (One Hershey Incentive Program (OHIP), Sales Incentives (OHIP-Sales and SIP), and Manufacturing Incentive Program (MIP), including ensuring accurate calculations, clear communication materials, timely payouts, and adherence to incentive guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field; CCP certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with global exposure strongly preferred.
  • Expertise in compensation surveys and PayFactors platform or similar survey warehouse.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of living wage, FLSA and pay equity principles.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools; experience with SuccessFactors preferred.
