About the role

  • Builds platforms and systems to manage, store, and transfer data leveraging a wide range of systems
  • Oversees systems for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data by leveraging both local & distributed structures
  • Identifies, designs, and implements process improvements including updating infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
  • Builds tools based on business and technical requirements that facilitate data integration, business analytics, data cleaning / transformation, and the deployment of ML/AI models
  • Creates and establishes design standards and assurance processes for software, systems and applications development to ensure compatibility and operability of data connections, flows and storage requirements
  • Works with stakeholders across teams to support data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in technology
  • Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.
  • Working knowledge in SQL-based technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL technologies (e.g., MongoDB)
