About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create, revise, and update drafts and technical drawings using AutoCAD
Ensure accuracy and clarity of all drawings in accordance with U.S. standards
Upload drafts, drawings, and supporting files into the internal system
Prepare and generate invoices
Manage billing, payroll and collections activities as needed
Assist with online presence tasks (posting, updates, content formatting, etc.)
Complete required compliance training
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using FreshBooks (training will be provided)
Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models based on project requirements
Interpret and modify architectural, structural, mechanical, or electrical drawings as needed
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and feasibility
Revise designs based on feedback and client specifications
Optimize CAD files for manufacturing, construction, or presentation purposes
Stay up to date with CAD software advancements and best practices
Order materials and any other office tasks as needed
Perform other ongoing administrative tasks as needed to support operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced English level (verbal and written)
Strong and clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, internal leaders, providers, and potential clients
Proficient in drafting using AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
Drafting & Drawing experience specifically for U.S.-based clients
Handle takeoffs and project documentation
Experience in both architectural work and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems
Familiarity with FreshBooks is a plus (training will be provided)
Experience with other CAD software (Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp, etc.) is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Microsoft Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets)
Strong understanding of technical drawings, blueprints, and drafting standards
Experience in one or more industries such as architecture, construction, manufacturing, or engineering
Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and meet project deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Highly responsible, organized, and reliable
Sound judgment and the capacity to comprehend and execute instructions promptly with minimal supervision
Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet.
