Business Development & Sales Executive – Real Estate
The Hello TeamRemote Business Development & Sales Executive overseeing tenant lifecycle from inquiry to retention in real estate. Involves managing listings, sales support, and coordinating tours and applications.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive occupancy, improve tenant retention, and maximize revenue through effective lead management, listing optimization, and conversion strategies
- Oversee the full tenant lifecycle—from initial inquiry through move-in and retention
- Coordinate closely with on-site teams to support tours and closing processes
- Manage listings and guide prospects through applications
- Support financing discussions and align marketing efforts with unit availability
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants throughout the lease cycle and convert renters into buyers when possible
- Upsell tenants to larger or higher-value units and reduce turnover through proactive engagement
- Manage and optimize listings across platforms (e.g., Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, Realtor.com)
- Respond promptly to inquiries and manage lead flow
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Combined experience in sales and marketing
- Background in real estate, leasing, or property management
- Strong negotiation and closing support skills
- Proven ability to manage pipelines, leads, and customer relationships
- Familiarity with platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Zillow, MLS, or similar real estate listing tools
- Familiarity with mobile home or residential financing
- Experience structuring or improving business processes
- Professional, sales-driven mindset with strong customer focus
- Experience combining sales expertise, marketing execution, and operational awareness within a real estate or similar environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic with a proactive mindset
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, software, and workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and standard business tools (email, spreadsheets, document management)
- Out-of-the-box thinker, highly adaptable, reliable, self-motivated, and confident approach
- Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to understand and follow established processes accurately with minimal supervision
- Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time (New York) business hours
- Interested in long-term career opportunities
- Reliable computer (Windows 10 or newer), two monitors, and stable high-speed internet
