About the role
- Process and manage end-to-end payroll for U.S.-based employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
- Perform payroll tax calculations, filings, and reporting in accordance with U.S. requirements
- Maintain accurate payroll records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Communicate with internal teams regarding payroll matters, updates, and issue resolution
- Prepare and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Assist with payroll audits and support documentation requests related to payroll processes
- Perform other tasks related to the position
Requirements
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience processing U.S. payroll
- Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll taxes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience handling multi-state payroll processes
- Proficiency with payroll systems, payroll processing tools, and reporting platforms used in the United States
- Experience with U.S. payroll tax filing systems
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive financial information accurately and confidentially
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage payroll-related issues effectively
- Experience working with U.S.-based clients is strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
