About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Processes candidate information and applications for the relevant incentive/bursary program.
  • Screens documentation to ensure applicants meet eligibility criteria.
  • Completes consultation calls with bursary applicants and prepares relevant bursary documentation.
  • In consultation with the finance department, supports the processing of bursary applications in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provides ongoing client service and support, including responding to queries, emails and phone calls.
  • Escalates complex inquiries to senior staff.
  • Supports Administrative Assistants with workload prioritization and applicant inquiries and questions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successful completion of human resources diploma or relevant degree.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a position requiring knowledge of recruitment practices, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (preferably in health care).
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, along with the ability to provide specialized bursary application support services, and candidate management.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams), and other online systems (e.g. Zoom, virtual webinars).
  • The ability to research and present issues, effectively prioritize work, make formal presentations, and communicate verbally and in writing.
