About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides leadership and oversight of program operations, partner engagement, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervises assigned staff and fosters a high-performance, inclusive, and safe work environment.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with health system partners, manages daily operations and program risks, supports recruitment and retention efforts at the provincial level.
  • Contributes to overall program effectiveness through strategic planning, project leadership, and service excellence.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with key internal and external partners including the Ministry of Health, health authority representatives, regulatory bodies, educational institutions, and community representatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ recent related experience, including experience supervising, leading, coaching and mentoring staff, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other database software, including pivot tables, graphing, formulas, creating dashboards and reports, experience working with large data sets.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and proven ability to be sensitive to context.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute projects with stringent timelines.
  • Ability to handle vast demands and rapid change.
  • Ability to organize workload, understand and apply relevant Acts and Regulations, deal with conflict, assess and establish priorities, and take action.
