About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Initiate claims according to claims best practices, as assigned

- Successfully complete the multi-week classroom new hire training course
- Work assigned holidays when required by business need
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated background in customer service, call center, insurance, retail, restaurant, or a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment while navigating multiple programs
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to empathize with customers and colleagues
- Adaptability
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- Ability to commit to the training and work schedule
- Dedicated workspace free from distractions during work and training hours
- High-speed broadband internet service required; DSL, wireless, Wi-Fi, hotspots, fiber without a modem, and satellite are not recommended or supported
- Hartford-issued computer must be hardwired to the provider-supplied modem/router/gateway with an ethernet cable
- Minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/300 Mbps required
- Successful completion of a multi-week classroom new hire training course required
- Spanish bilingual is a plus
