About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation frameworks using Playwright
- Write scalable, reusable, and maintainable test scripts
- Implement cross‑browser testing (Chromium, Firefox, WebKit)
- Automate end‑to‑end workflows and regression suites
- Automate API tests using REST APIs
- Validate backend services, response schema, and data integrity
- Mock/stub services as needed for test isolation
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
- Configure test execution, reporting, and failure analysis
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience in UI automation, API testing, and test design
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and SDLC
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON
- Knowledge of Git / version control systems
