About the role

  • Lead product execution for two or more Agile teams
  • Independently own and manage the team-level product backlog for GyroScope, ensuring work is clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned to Program and Enterprise objectives
  • Translate business needs into well-defined features, user stories, and acceptance criteria that support claims processing, integrations, and regulatory requirements
  • Partner with APMs, Engineering Leads, Business Analysts, QA, and Scrum Masters to drive refinement, sprint planning, and delivery
  • Serve as a primary liaison between Claims business stakeholders, Production Support/Run teams, and technology partners
  • Participate actively in PI Planning, Sprint Reviews, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt events
  • Provide perspective on portfolio vision and roadmap and articulate that vision to the agile teams ensuring they have a clear understanding
  • Accountable for the health, readiness and prioritization of the team backlog
  • Lead, coach, mentor and assist other agile team members when necessary and ensure the team breaks down, prioritizes and completes work from agile team product backlog and in adherence to acceptance criteria
  • Balance new feature delivery with production stability, operational hygiene, and defect management
  • Ensure solutions support security, data governance, and compliance standards within GyroScope
  • Leverage metrics and feedback to continuously improve product outcomes and team effectiveness

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience as an Agile Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Systems leadership roles
  • Strong experience working in Agile / SAFe environments, preferably within large-scale enterprise platforms
  • Proven ability to manage complex backlogs supporting integrations, workflows, and operational systems
  • Experience partnering with Claims, Operations, or Insurance business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, production-critical environment
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and ability to connect the dots and solve business problems
  • Acts as a coach and mentor to developing APOs within the portfolio while contributing thought leadership and best practices to the Agile Product Management community of practice
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools, leveraging them to improve product delivery and decision-making.
