About the role

  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide strategy for procurement analytics, reporting and data governance.
  • Design and implement a robust procurement data governance framework to ensure data quality, consistency and compliance.
  • Lead a team of analysts and data professionals to deliver high impact dashboards, reports and to provide predictive insights to identify trends, drivers and opportunities across spend, suppliers, compliance, contracting and savings.
  • Partner with IT to maintain and enhance a centralized procurement data platform integrating data from sourcing, purchasing, accounts payable, supplier management and risk systems.
  • Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to measure procurement effectiveness and enable continuous improvement.
  • Deliver advanced analytics and AI/ML-driven insights to support strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization.
  • Champion the adoption of modern BI tools and analytics best practices across the procurement organization.
  • Lead change management and digital transformation initiatives to embed analytics into procurement decision-making.
  • Drive ongoing maturity improvements across the procurement analytics lifecycle, including automation, self-service enablement, documentation and continuous improvement of the dashboard portfolio.
  • Translate analysis into executive ready narratives that clearly communicate what happened, why it matters, and what actions are recommended, tailored for senior procurement and finance stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a high-performing, inclusive and future-ready team, balancing high-performance standards with support, coaching and development.
  • Foster an environment where accountability, collaboration, curiosity and continuous improvement are core expectations.
  • Lead teams through change, new ways of working, and technology adoption with clarity and empathy, maintaining engagement and momentum during periods of change.
  • Contribute to ongoing maturity improvements across the procurement analytics lifecycle, including automation, self‑service enablement, documentation, and continuous improvement of the dashboard portfolio.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data science
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field; Master’s degree a plus
  • Expertise in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc)
  • Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks, interpreting data, identifying meaningful insights, and translating analysis into clear recommendations and stakeholder actions
  • Working knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing models and third-party risk and compliance data; experience with procurement systems and contract lifecycle management tools preferred
  • Excellent communication and consultative skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong program, project, and change leadership capabilities
  • Innovative, curious mindset with an understanding of emerging technologies and an interest in modern, data‑driven approaches and continuous improvement
