About the role

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack solutions for customer communications, focusing on AWS cloud-native architectures
  • Architect and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions to replace legacy systems
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into modern technical solutions that drive customer engagement
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, test-driven development, and continuous integration practices
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation
  • Drive adoption of GenAI tools, automation, and DevOps best practices to accelerate modernization
  • Maintain application stability, security, and performance in a fast-paced, cloud-first environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software development, including cloud migration and modernization projects
  • Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot), JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React)
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, EventBridge) and cloud-native architecture
  • Expertise in designing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and integrating with vendor systems
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Experience with DevOps tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Rally, SonarQube)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent technical leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
