About the role
- Execute quality reviews by reconstructing Employee Benefits underwriting cases
- Perform targeted audits on emerging trends
- Complete root cause analysis on quality reviews
- Deliver meaningful feedback to Underwriters and their leaders
- Support Strategic Reserve by underwriting cases during peak periods
- Identify learning opportunities based on quality findings
- Lead or participate in strategic initiatives
Requirements
- 2+ years of Employee benefits underwriting experience required
- Technical underwriting knowledge
- Must be detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Solid understanding of quality evaluation processes/principles
- Proven ability to act with integrity and respect
- Self-starter with the ability to work across all levels and areas
- Ability to multi-task while demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong team building and interpersonal skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
