About the role
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies for organization-based data isolation, role-based access control, and cross-tenant security validation
- Test AI submission workflows including prompt validation, response quality assessment, and async processing verification
- Expand Playwright E2E test suite to cover critical user journeys, authentication flows, and multi-organization scenarios
- Validate tRPC endpoints, webhook integrations, and third-party service integrations using automated and manual approaches
- Ensure data integrity across PostgreSQL/Drizzle ORM migrations, validate schema changes, and test database connection pooling under load
- Test Inngest async processing, job retries, error handling, and status tracking for AI workflows
- Validate Better Auth implementation, 2FA flows, organization invitations, session management, and webhook signature verification
- Monitor application performance under high concurrent usage, optimize database queries, and identify AI processing bottlenecks
- Validate OpenAI, Cerebras, and OpenRouter integrations, test model switching, rate limiting, and cost controls
- Maintain and expand Braintrust evaluation tests for AI output quality, consistency, and regression detection
- Test prompt variations, validate AI responses against expected outcomes, and ensure consistent quality across tools
- Strengthen GitHub Actions workflows, improve test coverage reporting, and implement automated quality gates
- Work with Biome linting, TypeScript strict mode validation, and pre-commit hook optimization to prevent regressions
- Ensure consistent experience across browsers and devices for the Next.js 15/Turbopack application
- Establish systematic bug reporting, reproduction steps, and severity classification for rapid cycles
- Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and QA processes for a fast-paced development environment
- Work closely with the engineering team to implement testable code patterns, review PRs for quality concerns, and provide early feedback
- Ensure intuitive workflows for complex AI features, validate error handling and user feedback mechanisms
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Vitest)
- AI/ML Testing Experience: Familiarity with LLM testing methodologies, prompt validation, and AI output quality assessment
- SaaS Platform Experience: Understanding of multi-tenant architecture testing, subscription management, and enterprise-grade security validation
- Automation Expertise: Strong background in test automation, CI/CD integration, and maintaining test suites in evolving codebases
- Communication Skills: English speaking/conversation skills are a must — ideal candidates are fluent in English as a second or third language and comfortable collaborating across global teams
