About the role
- **Workflow Engineering (Core Responsibility)**
- - Build, optimize, and maintain **n8n workflows** for automation across sales, operations, onboarding, and internal processes
- - Debug, refactor, and scale workflows for reliability and performance
- - Write and maintain **JavaScript / Code nodes** within n8n
- - Ensure workflows are production-ready, documented, and reusable
- **Client-Facing Technical Enablement**
- - Run **daily technical drop-in sessions** with clients (live troubleshooting, guidance, and implementation support)
- - Join client calls to:
- - Understand automation needs
- - Translate business logic into workflows
- - Explain how systems work in clear, non-jargon language
- - Provide calm, structured support to less-technical founders and operators
- **Systems & Integrations**
- - Integrate n8n with tools such as:
- - CRMs, Airtable, Google Sheets
- - APIs (internal and third-party)
- - Webhooks, databases, and SaaS tools
- - Design workflows that handle:
- - Data ingestion
- - Enrichment
- - Syncing between platforms
- - Trigger-based and scheduled automations
- **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement**
- - Work closely with consultants, delivery leads, and operations teams
- - Identify recurring client issues and convert them into **scalable workflow solutions**
- - Improve documentation, templates, and standard workflows
- - Proactively suggest improvements to systems and client experience
Requirements
- **Technical Skills**
- - Strong hands-on experience with **n8n** (required)
- - Solid understanding of **automation logic, APIs, and webhooks**
- - Ability to write and debug **JavaScript** within automation tools
- - Experience building workflows that run reliably at scale
- - Comfort working across multiple tools and systems
- **Client & Communication Skills**
- - Comfortable running **client-facing calls**
- - Able to explain technical concepts in a clear, structured way
- - Confident guiding clients through setup, troubleshooting, and best practices
- - Calm, professional, and solutions-oriented when issues arise
- **Working Style**
- - High ownership and accountability
- - Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- - Organized, reliable, and proactive
- - Enjoys problem-solving and continuous learning
- **Nice to Have (Not Required)**
- - Experience with Airtable, CRMs, or data-heavy workflows

- - Background in consulting, solutions engineering, or technical support
- - Experience supporting founders or non-technical clients
