About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape the financial future of a nationally recognized organization
- Establish and mature Geneva's FP&A capability
- Develop predictive financial models and data-driven insights
- Partner with senior leadership to identify financial risks, growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies
- Develop a finance technology roadmap
- Lead modernization of the finance system and business processes
- Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Direct the preparation of Incurred Cost Proposals, provisional rate submissions, and financial audit reports
- Build a high-performing finance organization capable of supporting organizational growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
- Demonstrated success leading both finance and accounting functions
- Extensive knowledge of government contracting compliance and audit requirements
- Experience leading multidisciplinary finance organizations through organizational growth and change
- Active CPA strongly preferred
- MBA or Master's degree preferred
- Experience leading ERP implementation or transformation
- Experience building FP&A organizations
- Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, automation, business intelligence or advanced analytics to improve financial operations and executive decision-making
- Experience supporting senior leadership and Boards of Directors
- Experience in nonprofit and/or federal government contracting environments
