About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Shape the financial future of a nationally recognized organization
  • Establish and mature Geneva's FP&A capability
  • Develop predictive financial models and data-driven insights
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify financial risks, growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies
  • Develop a finance technology roadmap
  • Lead modernization of the finance system and business processes
  • Manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting
  • Direct the preparation of Incurred Cost Proposals, provisional rate submissions, and financial audit reports
  • Build a high-performing finance organization capable of supporting organizational growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Demonstrated success leading both finance and accounting functions
  • Extensive knowledge of government contracting compliance and audit requirements
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary finance organizations through organizational growth and change
  • Active CPA strongly preferred
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred
  • Experience leading ERP implementation or transformation
  • Experience building FP&A organizations
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, automation, business intelligence or advanced analytics to improve financial operations and executive decision-making
  • Experience supporting senior leadership and Boards of Directors
  • Experience in nonprofit and/or federal government contracting environments
