About the role
- Oversee all janitorial aspects at assigned facility including managing, training, supply ordering, disciplining, hiring, and other duties as needed.
- Ensure the smooth running of operations and be responsible for own set of janitorial duties.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by assisting in meeting quality assurance goals and deadlines.
- Foster a safe work environment that encourages janitorial staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Lead the account by ensuring the day's scope of work gets done.
- Enforce work standards for janitorial employees in accordance with company practices.
- Monitor, measure, and report daily performance to the Operations Manager.
- Communicate daily assignments to janitorial staff.
- Follow guidelines for proper maintenance of all equipment.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ensure that health and safety rules are adhered to at all times.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of janitorial experience.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience. (Preferred)
- Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
- Will have to complete a forklift train-the-trainer course and be responsible for training your staff.
- Possesses a positive attitude and works well with other team members.
- Works well unsupervised.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient using computers and MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
