About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide operational, administrative, and transactional support across Finance and People functions
  • Process financial transactions, including Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Maintain ledgers, balance sheets, and prepare monthly journals and reconciliations
  • Support monthly payroll processes and administer employee benefits
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Produce and maintain all People documentation and ensure compliance
  • Coordinate recruitment administration and maintain accurate records within HRIS
  • Support ongoing administration and improvement of HR systems and processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience in HR /Finance administration or related role
  • Strong transactional finance background, particularly Accounts Payable and month-end processes
  • Strong understanding of HR and Payroll processes
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR)
  • Experience working with finance systems, especially NetSuite is highly desirable
  • Experience using Excel and CRM or fundraising databases (e.g., Salesforce)
