About the role

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and execute effective hiring strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through sourcing, referrals, communities, and external partners.
  • Ensure a positive, efficient, and inclusive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Track recruitment activity, maintain hiring documentation, and share updates on pipeline progress and key metrics.
  • Execute employer branding initiatives across social media, candidate communications, and talent-facing content.
  • Plan and promote hiring campaigns, talent events, and other initiatives that strengthen ALX Africa’s employer brand.
  • Collaborate with People, Marketing, and business leaders to align hiring and employer brand efforts with organisational priorities.
  • Stay informed on talent acquisition and employer branding trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter and other relevant channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging candidate-facing content.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across recruitment and employer brand activities.
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tools.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Understanding of employer branding, social media, or recruitment marketing.
